Job Description – Construction Manager (Building)

Responsibilities

🔹 Project Management & Supervision
▪ Oversee and manage construction activities to ensure projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards.
▪ Supervise and coordinate contractors, subcontractors, and site personnel to ensure compliance with design specifications and safety regulations.
▪ Monitor project progress, identify potential issues, and implement solutions to maintain timelines and budgets.
▪ Conduct site inspections and ensure proper execution of structural, architectural, and MEP (Mechanical, Electrical, Plumbing) works.

🔹 Quality Assurance & Compliance
▪ Ensure adherence to health, safety, security, and environmental (HSSE) standards on-site.
▪ Review and approve construction plans, drawings, and technical specifications.
▪ Ensure all materials, resources, and equipment are used efficiently while maintaining cost control measures.

🔹 Collaboration & Communication
▪ Liaise with clients, consultants, architects, engineers, and other stakeholders to ensure project objectives are met.
▪ Provide leadership and mentorship to on-site teams, ensuring a high level of performance and accountability.
▪ Maintain clear written and verbal communication with project teams and stakeholders.

Requirements

✅ Education & Certification
▪ Engineering Degree or equivalent experience.

✅ Experience & Technical Skills
▪ Minimum 15 years of experience in construction management and supervision.
▪ Experience in high-rise buildings, residential and commercial developments, warehouses, and logistics centers.
▪ General contractor experience is a plus.
▪ Strong knowledge of AutoCAD.
▪ Proven HSSE leadership skills.
▪ Fluent in English with excellent communication skills.
▪ Ability to work on-site full-time.
