- RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Preparing payment vouchers for suppliers and other payments, and maintaining accurate records.
- Reconciling supplier balances and ensuring they align with supplier statements.
- Participating in budgeting and forecasting activities to gain insight into financial planning.
- Ensuring proper documentation and filing of financial records for audit and compliance purposes.
- I'm helping you track and process employee expense requisitions and claims according to company policy.
- Contributing to improving financial processes and efficiency through data analysis and reporting.
- Adhering to the organization’s finance policies and procedures while performing all assigned duties.
Qualifications Requirements
- A bachelor’s degree or diploma in Finance, Accounting/ CPA Part II, or a related field
- Preferably 3-6 months relevant experience
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Keen attention to detail and accuracy in financial reporting.
- Excellent organizational and record-keeping skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Basic Kenyan taxation laws and statutory deductions (e.g., PAYE, VAT, NSSF, NHIF, Withholding Tax).
