Job Purpose
The Operations Manager will be responsible for ensuring the smooth and efficient execution of events, logistics, and production activities. This role involves managing teams, coordinating resources, and optimizing workflows to enhance overall operational efficiency while maintaining the company’s high-quality standards in event execution.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee and manage the planning, coordination, and execution of events and productions.
- Develop and implement operational strategies to improve efficiency, reduce costs, and enhance service delivery.
- Supervise logistics, including venue setup, equipment transportation, and technical support.
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations, contractual agreements, and industry standards.
- Collaborate with vendors, suppliers, and stakeholders to maintain seamless operational processes.
- Manage and train operational staff to enhance performance and productivity.
- Monitor budgets, track expenses, and optimize cost management for various projects.
- Identify operational challenges and develop solutions to mitigate risks.
- Ensure proper maintenance and inventory management of event equipment and resources.
- Continuously evaluate and improve workflows to enhance service delivery.
- Perform any other relevant tasks as assigned.
EDUCATION QUALIFICATION, EXPERIENCE, SKILLS, AND TRAITS
- Bachelor’s degree in business administration, Operations Management, Event Management, or a related field.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in operations management, preferably in the entertainment or event production industry.
- Strong leadership and team management skills.
- Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
- Strong organizational and planning skills.
- Knowledge of logistics, budgeting, and vendor management.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment with tight deadlines.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and project management tools.
