Job Description – Project Manager (Building & Construction)
Responsibilities
🔹 Project Planning & Execution
▪ Oversee the planning, execution, and completion of construction projects, ensuring alignment with project timelines and budgets.
▪ Coordinate with architects, engineers, contractors, and stakeholders to ensure smooth project execution.
▪ Develop and implement project schedules, ensuring efficient resource allocation and workflow.
🔹 Quality Assurance & Compliance
▪ Ensure all work complies with safety standards, building codes, and regulatory requirements.
▪ Conduct site inspections and quality control assessments to maintain high construction standards.
▪ Identify and mitigate potential project risks and challenges.
🔹 Collaboration & Leadership
▪ Lead and manage project teams, providing guidance and direction throughout the project lifecycle.
▪ Maintain clear communication with clients, consultants, and contractors to ensure project goals are met.
▪ Negotiate contracts and agreements with vendors and suppliers as needed.
Requirements
✅ Education & Certification
▪ Degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.
▪ Certification in PMP or PRINCE2 is a plus.
✅ Experience & Technical Skills
▪ Strong knowledge of safety standards in construction.
▪ Experience in MS Office, Revit, AutoCAD, and MS Project.
▪ Excellent organizational and time management skills.
✅ Personal Attributes
▪ Strong leadership abilities with a team-oriented approach.
▪ Outstanding communication and negotiation skills.
▪ Detail-oriented with superior writing, editing, and reporting skills for diverse audiences.
