Job Purpose
The Sales Representative will be responsible for driving revenue growth by identifying, qualifying, and closing sales opportunities with a primary focus on software solutions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Sales and Business Development – Identify and qualify leads, develop and execute sales strategies, and present ERP software solutions tailored to client needs.
- Client Relationship Management – Build and maintain strong relationships with prospective and existing clients, act as a trusted advisor, and provide post-sales support to ensure client satisfaction and retention.
- Market Research and Strategy – Stay informed about industry trends, competitors, and emerging technologies while providing feedback to the product development team on client needs.
- Reporting and Collaboration – Prepare accurate sales forecasts and reports, collaborate with the marketing team for targeted campaigns, and work with the technical team to ensure smooth solution implementation.
Educational Qualifications & Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in B2B sales, with a focus on software solutions.
- Proven track record of meeting and exceeding sales quotas.
- Proven ability to leverage an existing client database and a strong pipeline of qualified leads.
- Experience with ERP, SaaS, or other enterprise-level software solutions.
- A background in the manufacturing, cooperatives or saccos industry is an added advantage.
