Description
Sales Generation & Prospecting
- Proactively identify and reach out to potential customers through various channels, including cold calling, email campaigns, social media outreach, and networking events.
- Develop and maintain a robust pipeline of leads, nurturing relationships, and guiding prospects through the sales process from initial contact to conversion.
- Conduct thorough research to identify target markets, industry trends, and competitor offerings, leveraging insights to refine sales strategies and maximize revenue opportunities.
- Tailor product recommendations and present compelling solutions that align with customers' interests, preferences, and budgetary considerations, effectively addressing objections and overcoming barriers to purchase.
Customer Relationships and Account Management
- Build and maintain strong, long-lasting relationships with existing customers, serving as their primary point of contact and trusted advisor for all their travel needs.
- Proactively engage with customers to anticipate their evolving needs, identify cross-selling and upselling opportunities, and position Ticketsasa as their preferred partner for future travel.
- Advising clients on travel arrangements, e.g. documents required, visas and passports and keeping clients up to date with any changes
- Liaising with airline partners to ensure routing and schedules are accurate.
- Handle general inquiries for both internal and external customers and develop and maintain customer database to enhance customer loyalty and market intelligence
- Providing online assistance for reservation, check in, payments to maximize sales and ensure customer satisfaction
- Drafting invoices to ensure timely and accurate payment of issued tickets to both direct clients and corporates.
Must Have Job Requirements:
- At least 3 years’ proven working experience as a travel consultant
- Degree in hospitality, travel, tourism or related field and must have an IATA diploma
- Experience with Sales, CRM, and Travelport (Gallileo)
